FAQs:
1. Location
I am currently offering in-person sessions at 621 N. Sherman Ave. #B7 Madison, WI as well as telehealth sessions.
2. Insurance/Fees
I am currently in-network with United Healthcare/Optum and Dean. If you are using insurance, services will be billed to your plan and your out-of-pocket cost will depend on your specific benefits. I encourage you to contact your insurance provider to learn about your coverage for outpatient psychotherapy services, including any copays, coinsurance, deductibles, or session limits.
I want to keep therapy sessions affordable, so I offer a sliding scale/reduced rate when needed.
For clients using out-of-network benefits, I can provide a superbill that may be submitted to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.
3. What to Expect
-
Sessions are 53 minutes long.
-
You’re welcome to attend as often or as little as feels right for you.
-
Many people find that starting with weekly sessions helps build momentum and create meaningful progress.
-
Together we will explore your concerns and develop a plan to move you forward towards where you want to be.
4. Good Faith Estimate
You are entitled to receive a Good Faith Estimate that outlines the expected costs of your medical care. By law, healthcare providers must provide an estimate of charges for medical services and items to patients who are uninsured or not using insurance.
This includes non-emergency services like therapy sessions. You have the right to request a Good Faith Estimate from your therapist before scheduling an appointment.
If you receive a bill that is $400 or more above the estimated amount, you have the right to dispute the charges.
